An office for a Berlin-based model agency. The space is situated on the ground floor of a typical Prenzlauer Berg Altbau. Somehow beautiful, but also a little over-renovated: exposed brickwork, etc.
Our concept was to work almost exclusively with the surfaces of the walls. First, a lot of silver curtain fabric (normally used as a lining to make curtains heat-reflective). Second, utterly simple aluminum profiles to hold the models’ sedcards, which slowly accumulate to form a wall surface in their own right. Lastly, a “Fototapete”. Exactly like those wallpapers you can order made to measure on the internet. Which is exactly what we did. And exactly what it looks like.
Then some furniture, a large table, a sofa – which is where the tiger is hiding.
